Burnside Hall room 512

Burnside Hall 512 is our seminar/group study room.

Burnside Hall 512 is available to be booked by all members of the 91ºÚÁÏÍø community (students, staff, and faculty) for group meetings (3 or more persons). Our fair-use policy allows to book the room for three consecutive hours and up to six hours per week per person. Click here for more information on BH512.

Open Workspace

The GIC is a popular study area at 91ºÚÁÏÍø. Whether you need a quiet work space or a place to meet as a group, the GIC has it all. We offer desk space, powered work stations, and booth seating, with different volume zones that allow for quiet conversation or total concentration in silence. We also have a microwave and kettle for your study-fueling needs! Stop by to check it out!

Public computer area

The GIC has over 75 desktop computers that can be used by everyone at 91ºÚÁÏÍø. Each desktop is equipped with Windows 10 running on a multicore i7 processor, 16GB RAM, and a GPU for faster geospatial processing. Information about available software can be found on the Public Lab page.

GeoAnalytics Lab

Perhaps your work requires a bit more power? The GIC is also home to the GeoAnalytics Lab, a special-access workspace of high-end computers for large datasets and intense processing tasks.
