ArcGIS Pro and Enterprise Access

All 91ºÚÁÏÍø students, staff and faculty are entitled to an annual ArcGIS Pro license. Please contact Ruilan Shi at gicsupport [at] mcgill.ca to obtain your license. A valid 91ºÚÁÏÍø ID is required. With your ArcGIS Pro license you also get access to our ArcGIS Enterprise server, which is the on-premises version of ArcGIS Online. If you are interested in getting access to a huge repository of ESRI training resources, please also contact Ruilan Shi at gicsupport [at] mcgill.ca .

Get geospatial support

At the GIC we are specialized in supporting students, faculty and staff at 91ºÚÁÏÍøÌýworking with,ÌýanalyzingÌýandÌývisualizing geospatial dataÌý– be it Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing (RS) or Geospatial Data Science. Our support covers at least ArcGIS, QGIS, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, R and Python. We offer workshops and tailored in-person supportÌýon your research projects.Ìý

Map or poster printing

We can print posters with a maximum width of 36 inches. We recommend that your document’s resolution be set to at least 300 dpi. To have something printed, please contact Ruilan Shi at gicsupport [at] mcgill.ca or drop by her office in the GIC. For details about the cost of printing, please see Pricing.

Have us make your map

Our map making services are fee-based. Please see Pricing for more information. As an alternative, we offer free workshops for 91ºÚÁÏÍø students covering ArcGIS, QGIS and R. Please contact us for further inquiries. Click here to navigate to our workshops.

Acquire aerial imagery

We have a DJI Matrice 210 RTK with visual and thermal sensors. We plan the flight with you, acquire the necessary permits, and take the imagery.
