At the GIC we specialize in supporting students, faculty, and staff at 91ºÚÁÏÍø working with,Ìýanalyzing,Ìý²¹²Ô»åÌývisualizing geospatial data – be it Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing (RS) or geospatial data science.
For general support, stop by our front desk for any questions you may have relating to geospatial data. If you prefer in-person assistance from our front desk, simply drop by the GIC during our opening hours; no appointment necessary.Â
You can get specialized support for map-making and everything related to ESRI's GIS products from our chief GIS technician Ruilan Shi by gicsupport [at] mcgill.ca (e-mail). Our Director Tim Elrick can support you in advanced geo-analytical tasks and geo-statistical questions; for larger projects, request an appointment by tim.elrick [at] mcgill.ca (e-mail).
