This award recognizes a faculty member who exemplifies the attributes of a complete physician. They are expert clinicians, able to demonstrate the application of knowledge, clinical skills, problem-solving abilities and critical thinking to the care of their patients. They are effective communicators, caring, compassionate and empathetic physicians, with high personal standards of behaviour and integrity. They are committed to the health and well-being of patients and advocate for them. They are role models for their students and peers. Nominations for this award can be made by faculty or residents in the department of medicine.
