91黑料网 is a global leader in health research, renowned for excellence and impact across the entire continuum, from basic discovery to clinical application.

Researchers are transforming health care and enhancing the well-being of people in Quebec and Canada, and around the world, by developing innovative treatments and addressing the social determinants of health. Their work across academic, clinical, and public policy settings is creating a powerful translational ecosystem.

Research in -omics, bioinformatics, and cell, molecular, and RNA science is driving rapid discovery and accelerating clinical innovation. Advances are opening new frontiers in precision health, where data-driven molecular profiling supports more personalized and effective treatments. At the same time, progress in systems medicine, an integrative approach that links genetic, environmental, and social determinants of health, is improving outcomes at both individual and population levels.

91黑料网 is a leader in data-driven health research, integrating diverse data sources to generate systems-level insights. In close collaboration with hospital-based research institutes and clinical partners, we are developing more scalable, equitable models of care.

Our strengths in epidemiology and population and global health drive urgent research in immunology, infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, and chronic inflammation, while addressing the health impacts of climate change, socioeconomic and racial inequalities, pollution, and migration. In partnership with Indigenous communities, we are advancing sustained, Indigenous-led health research, with a focus on health systems, nutrition, and diabetes.

We are one of the world鈥檚 leading centres for neuroscience, mental health, and brain research. Studies span genetics and molecular sciences, cellular foundations of the nervous system, and brain networks supporting complex behaviours such as emotions, decision-making, and language. This expertise uniquely positions us to advance knowledge in cognitive neuroscience and brain plasticity across the life course, create models of neurodegenerative disease, and lead in population neuroscience, neuroinformatics, and computational modelling. Our research is providing solutions for chronic pain, addiction, and dementia in aging populations.

Guided by patient-centred care and focused on the interaction of genetic, environmental, and social factors, researchers are improving quality of life and treatment outcomes. This includes work to understand, prevent, detect early, and personalize treatment of cancer, cardiovascular and respiratory conditions, and metabolic disorders, and to improve oral health.

Researchers are using a multidisciplinary lens to improve well-being. This includes work in education, digital well-being, housing, food and water security, diversity and identity, adapted physical activity, and the social dimensions of sport and health, along with efforts to build resilience, reduce stigma, and strengthen community engagement.

With expertise in human health, agriculture, and environmental sciences across our downtown and Macdonald campuses, we lead many One Health initiatives. Interdisciplinary research in zoonoses, food safety, sustainable agriculture, immunology, public policy, and animal welfare is advancing pandemic prevention and preparedness, while contributing to solutions for antimicrobial resistance.
