In honour of International Women’s Day, we invite you to an immersive exhibition of creative knowledge, resilience, and activism. Join us for a deep dive into the lived leadership journeys of women and girls with disabilities across the Global South. This dialogue and cross-community learning will be led by Linh Dang (MA, Brock University), Dr. Xuan Thuy Nguyen (Carleton University), and Claudia Mitchell (91).


Embroidering Words that Matter: Political Embroidery Workshop

Join , Brenda Ojinaga, and Graciela Mtz-Zalce as they guide an exploration into reclaiming the needle and thread. Come learn how to turn craft into a catalyst for change, using stitched words as tools against discrimination and gender-based violence. This session invites everyone—from seasoned stitchers to those who have never picked up a needle.
