Montreal聽Comiccon聽will take place July 3 to 5聽at the Palais des聽congr猫s, bringing together enthusiasts of comics, anime, gaming,聽film聽and pop culture.聽

Vincent Paquin, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry聽is available to discuss the psychology of fan cultures. He can speak to how online spaces have reshaped fandoms, and how events like聽Comiccon聽bring those connections into the real world and help foster both social bonds and a sense of identity, particularly among young people. He can also address how fandom intersects with mental health and the attention these communities are receiving from clinicians聽seeking聽to better understand young people鈥檚 social lives today.聽
