Year 1: Reorganization Phase

  • Engagement of regional centres including existing (Phase 2) and new Phase 3 partners;
  • Developing and testing new model of coordination/dissemination with regional centres supporting existing and new partners and sites;
  • Modularization of the program to be done in conjunction with educational consultants, schools, and communities;
  • Integration of school-based recruitment, delivery and reinforcement of program in returning regions;
  • Recruitment of new First Nations school boards, schools and organizations to adapt the program.

 

Year 2: Growth Phase

  • Regional Centres will disseminate program to more sites in communities;
  • New Centres will continue to support delivery of the adapted program at regional sites;
  • Integration of school-based delivery in new regions.

 

Year 3: Conservation Phase

  • All regional Centres coordinating ongoing and new communities;
  • Developing and implementing regional plans for sustainability;
  • Reviewing successful implementation and sustainability plans to improve the regional Centre practices and assist any Centres experiencing difficulties in achieving sustainability;
  • Transition from evaluation to ongoing quality assurance;
  • Meeting with policy makers, planners and educators to reinforce longterm sustainability and continued dissemination.
