International non-governmental organizations

Students who work for, or who are dependents of individuals employed by one of the international non-governmental organizations outlined in Annexe III of the may apply for a tuition exemption. The exemption is only valid for the duration of the employment with the organization.

IMPORTANT: ALL required documentation must be received in order for the relevant exemption to be applied. Exemptions remain active and valid only as long as all mandatory supporting documents are valid. The moment any single supporting document expires, the exemption also ends. In order to be exempted for the semester, the expiry date of the documentsÌýmust be equal to or greater than the end date of the semester. Removal of an exemption means a return to international tuition fee status.

Documents required:

  1. "Le Protocole" attestation letter from the Québec Government (for more information, refer to theÌýÌýand theÌý)
  2. Valid study permit
  3. The serving representative's diplomatic visa or work permit issued by Immigration Canada
  4. Proof of kinship to the serving representative (e.g. marriage or birth certificate)

Note regarding self-funded programs: ALL students - regardless of legal status - are charged the same rate of tuition fees. Fee exemptions are therefore not applicable to these specific programs. Please refer to .
