Minor Concentration in International Development Studies (18 credits)

The Minor Concentration in International Development Studies provides students with an interdisciplinary understanding of the key challenges and opportunities facing the Global South and the wider developing world. Through a selection of required and thematic courses, students explore issues such as economic development, governance, inequality, sustainability, migration, health, and conflict.

Designed to complement a wide range of disciplines—including Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Geography, Anthropology, and Environmental Studies and more—the minor enables students to incorporate a global development perspective into their primary field of study.
