How do I register to attend 91ºÚÁÏÍø Global Health Night 2025?

I registered for Global Health Night 2025, where do I go?

Please note that only those on the in-person registration list will be admitted. For safety and room capacity reasons, registrants not on the list may be refused entry

When you registered, you should have received a confirmation email, followed by a reminder a few days before the event. Look for an email with the subject lineÌý'Reminder Global Health Night Registration' (globahealthteam.dgph [at] mcgill.ca).Ìý

In-person attendees: The event will take place at the Student’s Society of 91ºÚÁÏÍø (SSMU), 3480 McTavish Street, on campus. Please note that only guests with confirmed in-person registrations will be admitted.

Wait list regisrants:ÌýRegistrants were notified directly if a spot became available. Everyone on the waiting list also received a the event live online.ÌýWe kindly ask that you not contact the GHP office to check for openings—thank you for your understanding.Ìý

I’m unsure which email address I used to register for Global Health Night. What do I do?

  • Try searching for your Global Health Night registration confirmation email in your various email accounts in order to determine which email address you used to register for the event.
  • The email address you used to RSVP will have received an email from the address globalhealthteam.dgph [at] mcgill.ca with the subject line: “Reminder Global Health Night Registration" or "Reminder: Join Global Health Night 2025ÌýOnline"
  • That message may have landed in your spam folder.

I registered to attend in-person but I cannot be there at 4:00 PM EST. Can I still join?

  • Yes! You can browse the Student Poster Fair anytime between 4:00-6:00 PM.
  • The main program, including the Paul Farmer Lecture, will begin at 6:00 PM.

Will the Student Poster Fair will have an online component?

The Student Poster Fair is only available in person this year.

How do I find a specific poster?

A poster directory will be available near the entrance of the Student Poster Fair.

Can I attend 91ºÚÁÏÍø Global Health Night online?

Yes, you can watch the main program (including the Paul Farmer Lecture) An email with the link to the talk was sent to online registrants prior to the event. The Student Poster Fair is in-person only.

Can I pose questions to the keynote speaker?

Yes, you can (link will be live as of 4:30 PM ET on the day of the event).

I missed the live stream. Can I watch a recording?

What COVID-19 precautions will be in place for the in-person event?

  • Masks are available and canÌýbe provided to attendees.
  • Physical distancing is recommended to the greatest extent possible.
  • Hand sanitizer will be availableÌýto attendees.
  • We expect all attendees to please respect coughing and sneezing etiquette.

91ºÚÁÏÍø is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous Peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg Nations. 91ºÚÁÏÍø honours, recognizes, and respects these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which peoples of the world now gather. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous Peoples from across Turtle Island. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
