How do I find information about the courses I am eligible to register in?

A course table is available to help you find the courses that match your placement level. There are three learning streams to choose from: French for general communication, French for health and psychosocial services, and French for Professional Communication. Please refer to the course table for details.​

I completed the test and now know which French courses I need to take. How do I register?

Please use Minerva to register for your eligible French courses. ​

I can't register for the course I'm eligible to register in. I'm getting a registration error. What should I do?

Please make sure 24 hours have passed since you received your placement email. If 24 hours have passed, please visit the having trouble registering and review the common registration error messages.

Yes, the test is accessible. myCourses runs on a platform with assistive technology support. If you need additional information or support, please contact Student Accessibility and Achievement.

For how long are my placement test results valid?

Your placement test results are valid for three consecutive academic terms. For example, if you take the test in August, your placement level will be valid for the following Fall, Winter, and Summer terms.
