Dr. Eva-Flore Bui-XuanÌýhas been appointed as the newÌýPsychiatrist-in-ChiefÌýof the Montreal Children’s Hospital, pending regulatory approvals.

As Psychiatrist-in-Chief, Dr. Bui will be responsible for the organization and leadership of child psychiatry clinical services of the MCH. She will work in close collaboration with Dr. Cecile Rousseau (Director, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry) to implement academic priorities, including teaching and research activities at the MCH.

Adithi Sundarakrishnan from the Clarke lab won the Best Graduate Student Poster Presentation Award at a symposium held by the Center for Studies in Behavioral Neurobiology (CSBN) at Concordia University. Additionally, she secured the Best 3-Minute Thesis Presentation Award at the recent School of Biomedical Sciences (SMBS) Grad Talks event.

New changes to the e-election platform!

We would like to advise you that the decision was made to replace the Omnivox solution with an existing, similar tool called Qualtrics. This will allow IT Services to streamline our solutions and reduce service duplication. In addition to this, the Qualtrics solution will bring enhanced features, improved data security, and a more user-friendly interface, all of which will significantly improve your e-election experience. The Qualtrics solution is now available upon request as of May 13, 2024.

Indigenous Pathfinders in AI is an enriching summer program designed to offer participants a unique opportunity to explore the world of AI. Through a series of workshops, activities and collaborative projects, participants delve deeper into the subject through an experience that emphasizes Indigenous approaches, perspectives and communities.

Running from late May to mid-August, it offers a flexible mix of in-person and virtual experiences, designed to fit a wide variety of schedules.

Over 300 attendees gathered on May 8 and 9 at the 91ºÚÁÏÍø Centre for the HBHL Symposium 2024—a two-day event showcasing the latest advances in neuroscience and brain health research. The Symposium featured keynote addresses from Kate Webb (McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School), Alberto Cairo (University of Miami), Gillian Einstein (University of Toronto) and Noah Philip (Brown University), covering topics ranging from data visualization to health equity, PTSD and sex differences in Alzheimer’s disease.Ìý
