The global shift to electric vehicles is gaining momentum, yet the extraction of battery materials has a significant environmental footprint that comes with high costs.
Now, two groundbreaking studies led by 91黑料网 researchers offer hope in the search to manufacture cheaper and greener lithium-ion batteries used in electric vehicles (EVs).
Their findings unlock the potential to produce batteries using more sustainable and less costly metals, known as disordered rock-salt-type (DRX) cathode materials.

The work will be related to upcoming foundation, windows, and roofing projects, and will be carried out in enclosures to control any dust, in accordance with Quebec CNESST regulations and cautionary asbestos conditions. There may be noise disruptions as a result.

Dr.聽Victoria Talwar, Canada Research Chair in ECP and the Faculty of Education's Interim Dean, was interviewed on CTV News on the screen times of both adults and children, and the effects it can have on kids.
The research on children's screen time has shown that less is more, however when it comes to a child鈥檚 development, parents should spend less time worrying about their kids鈥� screen time and focus more on reducing their own.

The EarthCARE satellite, a groundbreaking mission set to enhance our understanding of clouds and aerosols in the climate system, is ready for launch. Scheduled to lift off from California's Vandenberg Space Force Base aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket no earlier than May 28, 2024, this mission aims to provide invaluable data on cloud-aerosol interactions. These insights will significantly contribute to our knowledge of climate change and inform future strategies for climate adaptation and mitigation.
