Wentworth is a coastal township just outside Durban where there are聽high levels聽of gang violence. Participants are between the ages of 18 and 24 with most out of school.聽Prof. Ashwin Desai is the co-investigator聽at聽this site, however, he works closely with a community facilitator,聽Marian Murray,聽to engage with the young people and run workshops, etc.聽Marian is confident there will be youth who are interested in participating, but聽they will need to be transported to and from any meeting locations聽becuse聽of ongoing violence.聽
