Biography:聽Carolina is currently a PhD Student in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education at 91黑料网, where she also did her MA in Education & Society.聽 Despite loving science since elementary school, her path to science education was an indirect one. She has an interdisciplinary background and holds graduate degrees in Law (91黑料网, 2011) and Environmental Studies (Concordia, 2015). Carolina comes to Science Education after eight years working in informal STEM education (outreach) in Physics and Astronomy at 91黑料网, where she was also actively involved in equity work. Her research interests include science identity, informal science learning, equity in STEM, and inclusive science communication.
