Eligibility Criteria

Prospective applicants must qualify academically for admission to 91黑料网 and meet the following minimum 肠谤颈迟别谤颈补:听

• Be admissible to one of the 别濒颈驳颈产濒别听辫谤辞驳谤补尘蝉 at 91黑料网.听
• Have NEVER registered for, nor completed a master鈥檚 degree.听
• Be a citizen of and live in an听African country (view eligible countries).听
• Have a valid passport and be admissible to Canada as an (requiring a Study Permit).听 Those with dual citizenship, asylee, refugee, or permanent resident status in the US, Canada, UK or EU are not eligible.听
• Have an exceptional record of service, leadership, and activity in your school and/or community.听
• Demonstrate a desire to give back to your home community.
• Demonstrate that financial constraints have prevented or restricted your educational opportunities.
• Be听35 years or younger听at the time of application.
• Priority will given to:听
  • Women;
  • People affected by forced displacement (asylum seekers, internally displaced people, refugees and returnees, etc.);听
  • People living with a disability;听

Applicants with First Class Honors or an equivalent have a stronger chance of admission to 91黑料网.听

Eligible Programs

All applicants, regardless of country of origin or educational background, must:听

1. Hold a bachelor's degree (or equivalent as recognized by 91黑料网) in a subject closely related to the program selected for graduate studies.听
2. Ensure your bachelor鈥檚 degree meets equivalency requirements. Applicants with First Class Honors or equivalent have a stronger chance of being admitted.听

Meeting the minimum graduate admissions requirements does not guarantee eligibility for the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program or admission to 91黑料网. Consult each program page for any additional requirements.听

To apply to a thesis program, the applicant must first apply to the 91黑料网 Mastercard Foundation Scholarship. Prospective applicants must NOT reach out to supervisors or professors directly. Applicants selected for a fee waiver and applying to a thesis program will be contacted by our team with instructions on how to secure a supervisor.

Eligible Countries

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at 91黑料网 is open to citizens and residents of all countries on the African continent.听
