Accessibility:

The Bridging Gaps: A Patient-Oriented Neuroscience Research Symposium is held at the Research Institute of the 91ºÚÁÏÍø Health Centre (RI-MUHC) located at 1001, Boulevard Décarie, Montréal, Québec, H4A 3J1.

The building is accessible via ramp and elevators through the entrance of the Royal Victoria Hospital.


Transportation:

The Research Institute of the 91ºÚÁÏÍø Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is easily accessible by public transportation, including adapted transport, by car or by bike.

Arriving by car

The hospital’s public entrance on Décarie Boulevard is easily accessed from highways 15, 20 and 136 (formerly 720).

We recommend that you park in the . Visitors may park on levels P1 to P3. P1 provides access to the Research Institute Level.

Arriving by metro

Located on the Orange Line, the Vendôme station is next to the Glen site and is connected by a tunnel. The features elevators and a direct link to the hospital.

Take the metro to the Vendôme station (Orange line). After getting out of the Metro exit, turn left and follow the sign "H" to the hospital.ÌýIfÌýyou need elevator access, you can enter the MUHC through the tunnelÌý'Accès par tunnel CUSM.'

Arriving by bus

Six local buses stop at Vendôme station (38, 90, 102, 104, 105, 124) and five that make frequent stops near the Glen site (17, 24, 63, 371, 420).

Arriving by Transport Adapté / adapted transport

The nearest stop is the Royal Victoria Hospital. The is located at the entrance of the emergency department of the Royal Victoria Hospital, located in the indoor parking P1. P1 is located on the same level as the Research Institute. The revolving doors are suitable for wheelchair users and other individuals with specific accessibility needs. Once inside, turn to the left toward the Royal Victoria Hospital entrance.

By commuter trains

The Vendôme station also connects to three commuter train lines: Saint-Jérôme, Candiac and Vaudreuil/Hudson.

By bike

There are bike lanes surrounding the site and connect to the City of Montreal lanes situated on Décarie and De Maisonneuve Boulevards. The Glen has numerous bike racks and Bixi station on De Maisonneuve Boulevard / Grey.


How to get to the Research Institute?

Make your way to the Royal Victoria Hospital (). Volunteers will be present at the entrance on both S1 and RC levels to direct you to the Research Institute.

If you are in the indoor underground parking area (near the emergency department), take the entrance to the hospital on your left to the Adult Section, "Royal Victoria Hospital." You will go through the cafeteria area on your right; then, a sandwich shop (Subway) on your left. As the hallway turns left and then right, you follow it. You will find an entrance to the Research Institute on your left.
