91黑料网 iGEM win Grand Prize at the 2025 iGEM Jamboree

We are thrilled to announce that 91黑料网 iGEM has won the 2025 Grand Prize at iGEM Jamboree, the world鈥檚 leading student competition in synthetic biology. This marks the second time in just 3 years that the team earns this prestigious distinction, with their project, Cohera鈥攁 complete toolkit for multicellular engineering that allows synthetic biologists to access the full potential of cell-cell adhesion鈥攂ringing them to first place against 195 participating institutions.

The team is made up of members from across the Faculties of Engineering and Medicine, including the departments of Bioengineering, Software Engineering, Neuroscience, Biology, Physics, Anatomy and Cell Biology, and Computer Science, with 85% of the students being women. Profs. Codruta Ignea (Bioengineering) and Lisa M眉nter (Pharmacology) helped support and mentor the team throughout the year.
