Meetings for the Academic Year 2026-2027

Faculty Council is primarily a deliberative, decision-making body on matters related to teaching, research and service. Faculty Council is the highest academic body within the Faculty and is composed of all full-time tenured and tenure-track professors, contract academic staff (CAS) instructors, liaison librarians, and duly elected student representatives as full voting members. Non-academic senior members of the administration are advisory members of Faculty Council with speaking rights but not voting rights. As an open and transparent forum, all other members of the Faculty (academic, administrative, and students) are invited to attend Faculty Council as observers, space permitting.

Academic Committee on the other hand is composed of Vice Dean (Faculty), Vice-Dean (Programs);听Director of Equity; Diversity and Inclusion; Associate Deans; Academic Director, Research/Academic Director, Faculty; Academic Director of the Bensadoun School of Retail Management;听PhD Program Director; Area Coordinators and Student Representatives.

Academic Committee and Faculty Council are both chaired by the Dean.
