Taking Credit Courses as a Special Student
If you would like to register for credit courses听at the School of Continuing Studies听without being admitted to a program, you may register as a special student.

Eligibility Requirements
Undergraduate-level courses听
- Proof of English language proficiency
Graduate-level courses听
- Proof of English language proficiency鈥�
- Undergraduate degree transcript with proof of graduation
- Minimum academic standing:
- CGPA of 3.0/4.0,听or
- 3.2/4.0 in the last two years of full-time academic studies听
English Language courses听
- Beginner to advanced level courses are available through听our听鈥�Certificate of Proficiency in English for Professional Communication.
- All students must take a 听first to听determine听their level.听

Application Deadline
Applications for special students for Fall 2026 are open until August 25, 2026.
Note that the term starts on August 31, 2026; therefore, we strongly suggest that you apply as soon as possible to allow the necessary time for processing your application and to avoid late registration for courses. For more details on the important dates for Fall 2026, please go here.
