Claudio听Bussandri鈥� will be conferred with a听Doctor of Laws,听honoris causa听(LL.D.)鈥� at the Faculty of Education Convocation Ceremony on June 1st.听

The 91黑料网 Sustainability Park has announced new academic leadership appointments that will help shape its future direction. Among them is Robert Nason of the Desautels Faculty of Management, who will serve as Associate Academic Director of Entrepreneurship and Engagement.

This year, we are proud to celebrate Oliver Abrams BCom'26, as Management valedictorian for the Class of 2026. Reflecting on his time at Desautels, Oliver found that the people around him played a defining role in his experience.

For Abrams, 91黑料网 was more than academics; it was a community that broadened his perspective and grounded him throughout his studies. 鈥淢y peers have shown me what鈥檚 possible, my professors have shown me new ways of thinking, and my family has kept me grounded,鈥� he said. In moments of uncertainty, their support remained constant.

Desautels Professor Emerita has been awarded the 91黑料网 Medal for Exceptional Academic Achievement, the University's highest academic honour, in recognition of a career spent bridging science, policy and real-world impact.

People who have a weaker sense of self are also more likely to have less bodily awareness, 91黑料网 researchers have found. The study supports the idea that people鈥檚 perceptions of themselves and how they experience their own bodies are deeply connected.

Beyond deepening psychologists鈥� understanding of 鈥渆mbodied cognition,鈥� the connection between our minds and our fundamental bodily awareness, the findings could have concrete applications regarding the treatment of certain psychiatric conditions, the researchers said.
