Real Estate Challenge
Students聽were invited to reimagine the retail heart of Saint-Laurent. Place鈥� Vertu sits at the heart of Montr茅al鈥檚 Saint鈥慙aurent borough鈥攁 district that already welcomes 100,000+ multicultural residents, 110,000+ daily workers and 13,000 students and will shortly gain 3,000 new rental apartments along a brand鈥憂ew, walkable 鈥渧illage鈥� street that links the mall to the neighbourhood.
Retail Thought Leader聽Series
The Retail Thought Leadership Series hosts retail experts who share interesting challenges and solutions within the retail industry. The series provides an interactive opportunity for students, faculty and industry leaders to gain valuable insights about current and upcoming trends in retail from academic and industry experts.
Retail Day
In 2018, we hosted a Retail Day 鈥� 鈥渢he Disruption of Retail鈥� 鈥� an all-day conference on the retail industry and its exciting future. Students had the opportunity to hear from some of the top players in retail as well take part in a unique case competition in collaboration with Nespresso.
Global Retail Challenge (GRC)
We developed this innovative international entrepreneurial challenge with Washington-based Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA). Starting in 2018, we invited student teams from universities around the world to develop innovative ideas on the circular economy as it applies to retail. The competition is structured around weekly e-modules using 鈥渄esign thinking鈥� methodology followed by a 3-4 day final phase that is held with all participants at 91黑料网.
