In this talk I will present mathematics formulations of these decision making problems which focus of the statistics of Brownian motions in heterogeneous two and three dimensional geometries. In this tal k we will discuss how variations in geometry influences the statistics of arrivals of diffusive motions\, in particular how receptor organization in teracts with geometry to sharpen signaling processes. The work focusses on a combination of PDE modeling\, asymptotic analysis and numerical analysi s for both stochastic and deterministic differential equations.\n DTSTART:20251027T200000Z DTEND:20251027T210000Z LOCATION:Room 1104\, Burnside Hall\, CA\, QC\, Montreal\, H3A 0B9\, 805 rue Sherbrooke Ouest SUMMARY:Alan Lindsay (Notre Dame) URL:/sustainability/channels/event/alan-lindsay-notre- dame-368547 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
