Dr. Tulin Cil is a breast surgical oncologist at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto. In 2020, she was appointed as the Gattuso Chair in Breast Surgical Oncology.Ìý​

Dr. Cil leads a variety of studies in the field of health services research, with a focus on breast cancer. The research spans topics including robotic surgical techniques, psychosocial impacts of breast cancer, the development and evaluation of a virtual care platform, as well as improving international breast cancer outcomes. Dr. Cil is affiliated with the Wilson Centre at UHN where her research in surgical education focuses on innovative teaching strategies and mechanisms of learning surgical skills.
