Speaker: Dr. Andrea Hayes-Dixon, MD, FACS, PhD

Dr. Andrea Hayes-Dixon is Dean and Vice President of Clinical Affairs at Howard University’s College of Medicine. She is also the first African American female pediatric surgeon in the United States. Prior to her current roles at Howard University, she was the Section Chief of Pediatric Surgery at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, and the Surgeon in Chief at the University of North Carolina Children’s Hospital.
