 is Professor in the School of Rehabilitation Therapy at Queens University.
  Heather's research program aims to promote the full inclusion of people w
 ith disabilities globally. She works towards achieving this aim by examini
 ng support structures for people with disabilities and their families\, ev
 aluating the processes and outcomes of implementing community-based rehabi
 litation programs\, and translating findings to inform disability policy a
 nd practice. Her scholarship draws upon local strengths and capabilities a
 nd seeks to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and th
 eir families globally.\n\nProf. Aldersey is the Scientific Director of the
  International Centre for the Advancement of Community Based Rehabilitatio
 n\, she holds a Canada Research Chair in Disability-Inclusive Development\
 , was recently awarded a Dorothy Killam Fellowship and is the Director of 
 a 10-year Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program. \n
