Join STEMM Diversity @ 91şÚÁĎÍř  for an excitin g hour exploring the green spaces on 91şÚÁĎÍř campus! We don’t tend to think of cities as places where lots of plants and animals live\, but even smal l habitats can be super important for many species. Some are tiny and don’ t need a lot of space\, some need spots to rest while passing through\, an d some don’t mind the city at all! We’ll use a mix of scientific\, indigen ous\, and your own personal knowledge to see what nature could be hiding r ight around the corner.\n\nCome meet us in the children's garden in front of the Macdonald-Stewart Building at 10:30am and be prepared for some time outside. This activity is aimed at grades 3-5\, but all are welcome! Work sheets are bilingual\, explanations will be in English. \n\nIf you have an y questions\, please send an e-mail to stemmdiversityatmcgill [at] gmail.c om.\n\nTo see our other activities for Family Science Day visit our upcomi ng events calendar\n\n \n DTSTART:20240928T143000Z DTEND:20240928T160000Z LOCATION:Next to the Redpath Museum in the field with the statue of three m en\, SE - Downtown Campus Southeast Sector\, CA SUMMARY:Family Science Day: Small Habitats - Exploring the Nature Around Us URL:/science/channels/event/family-science-day-small-h abitats-exploring-nature-around-us-359424 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
