Atte ndees will learn how to import code from other modules and packages to tak e advantage of the existing Python ecosystem. After seeing how to access p ackages\, we will explore popular data analysis packages. We will see how to use NumPy to perform operations on large data arrays and how to use Mat plotlib to generate clear data visualisations. Finally\, we will discuss h ow to approach a new\, unfamiliar package and learn how to use it.By the e nd of this workshop\, participants will be able to:Import code from existi ng modules and packages.Use NumPy to easily process multidimensional data. Use Matplotlib to generate different types of plots to visualise data.Appr oach a new package and explore its documentation and examples.Pre-requisit es:Basic knowledge of Python is required. Attendees should be comfortable with control flow\, basic data types and calling functions. To fully parti cipate in the exercises in this workshop\, attendees should have a working Python installation and either Jupyter Lab or another IDE that can open J upyter notebooks\, such as Microsoft Visual Studio Code. Alternatively\, e xamples can be run in Google Colab online (requires a Google account).
