 ill researchers and administrators to an information session on fonds de r
 echerche - Nature et technologies (FRQNT) - Research Support for New Acade
 mics Grants.\n\nThis session will be hosted on Zoom – link and password wi
 ll be provided to those who RSVP. \n\nThe purpose of this program is to fo
 ster a new generation of researchers within the university research and te
 aching community by assisting new researchers who have just launched their
  academic career to become established as independent researchers and beco
 me competitive nationally and internationally. The program also seeks to s
 trengthen the research system by encouraging new researchers to develop or
 iginal avenues of research.\n\nResearchers with projects in the natural sc
 iences\, mathematical sciences and engineering who are planning to apply t
 o the upcoming FRQNT Research Support for New Academics competition (2023-
 2024) are encouraged to attend this information session\, which will inclu
 de:\n\nA presentation about the objectives and application requirements of
  the FRQNT Research Support for New Academics Grants by Biljana Vasilevska
 \, Grants and Agreements Officer OSR\;\n	A presentation on tips and best pr
 actices for preparing a successful FRQNT application by Prof. Mehran Dastm
 alchi (Department of Plant Science).\n	A question and answer period where p
 articipants will be encouraged to raise any questions they may have about 
 the program or the application process.\nThose who are unable to attend or
  who wish to provide their questions in advance are invited to send their
