DESCRIPTION:This session will be hosted on Zoom – link and password will be
  provided to those who RSVP. \n\nThe purpose of this program is to foster 
 a new generation of researchers who have just launched their academic care
 er to become established as independent researchers and become competitive
  nationally and internationally. The program also seeks to strengthen the 
 research system by encouraging original avenues of research.\n\nResearcher
 s with projects in the natural sciences\, mathematical sciences and engine
 ering who are planning to apply to the upcoming FRQNT Research Support for
  New Academics competition (2022-2023) are encouraged to attend this infor
 mation session\, which will include:\n\nA presentation about the objective
 s and application requirements of the FRQNT Research Support for New Acade
 mics Grants by Alison Glaser\, Senior Grants and Agreements Officer\, and 
 Biljana Vasilevska\, Grants and Agreements Officer\, OSR\;\n	A presentation
  on tips and best practices for preparing a successful FRQNT application b
 y Prof. Cynthia Kallenbach (Department of Natural Resource Sciences).\n	A q
 uestion and answer period where participants will be encouraged to raise a
 ny questions they may have about the program or the application process.\n
