 perating funds to support important\, pertinent\, novel research in the ar
 eas of heart disease and stroke.\n\nResearch is supported across the four 
 health research themes:\n\nBasic biomedical\n	Clinical\n	Health services/sys
 tems\n	Social\, Cultural\, Environmental and Population Health\n \n\nResear
 chers who are planning to apply to the upcoming HSF Grants-in-Aid 2018/201
 9 Program (deadline August 31st 2017) are encouraged to attend this inform
 ation session.\n\nOverview:\n\nBrief presentation about the objectives and
  requirements of the HSF Program presented by Rina Cohen\, Grants Officer.
 \n	Presentations for Best Practices for a sound grant application.\n	Q & A P
 eriod. Participants will be encouraged to raise any questions they may hav
 e about the Program and its application process. Those who are unable to a
 ttend are invited to send their inquiries to Rina Cohen in advance so that
