 rs to an outreach session focusing on understanding the current funding la
 ndscape and how to optimize these various funding sources. Discussions wil
 l include strategies and scenarios in applying to granting programs availa
 ble at the Natural Science Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC)\
 , Mitacs and Provincial Consortia taking into consideration the career pat
 h of the faculty member. Particular focus will be on the upcoming NSERC St
 rategic Grant competition in 2016. This session will also benefit faculty 
 members in connecting with Canadian companies.\n\nSpeaker: David Nguyen\,
