 Grant workshops.\n \nGetting Your Grant: Strategies for Success \n \nMcGil
 l researchers\, both new and established\, who are planning to submit an N
 SERC Discovery Grant application this fall\, are strongly encouraged to at
 tend a series of NSERC Discovery Grant workshops organized by the Office o
 f Sponsored Research throughout the summer.\n \nThe goal of these sessions
  is to provide 'behind the scenes' information about the peer review commi
 ttee process and activities\, as well as helpful tips and 'tricks of the t
 rade' for researchers to enhance the quality of their applications. The se
 ssions will focus on successful strategies for planning and writing a gran
 t application\, with particular emphasis on the restructured peer review s
 ystem and the evaluation process. Recent competition results will also be
