  invite faculty members to two upcoming NSERC Discovery Grant workshops.\n
 Getting Your Grant: Strategies for Success \n91ºÚÁÏÍø researchers\, both new
  and established\, who are planning to submit an NSERC Discovery Grant app
 lication this fall\, are strongly encouraged to attend a series of NSERC D
 iscovery Grant workshops organized by the Office of Sponsored Research thr
 oughout the summer. \nThe goal of these sessions is to provide 'behind the
  scenes' information about the peer review committee process and activitie
 s\, as well as helpful tips and 'tricks of the trade' for researchers to e
 nhance the quality of their applications. The sessions will focus on succe
 ssful strategies for planning and writing a grant application\, with parti
 cular emphasis on the restructured peer review system and the evaluation p
 rocess. Recent competition results will also be covered.\nThis session wil
 l also briefly address the new NSERC Research Portal and the Common CCV\, 
 however separate workshops on these specific topics will be planned for fu
 ture dates. Additional Discovery Grant sessions will also be held towards 
 the end of summer\, but please note that these would be duplicate sessions
  in terms of the topics to be discussed. More information on these worksho
 ps will follow at a later date once it becomes available.\nPlease send RSV
