DESCRIPTION:The Ronald Brown Memorial Lecture will take place on Thursday\,
  October 13\, at 13:30. This will be a very special event\, as we will hav
 e the great fortune to have his brother\, Dr. Robert Brown\, as our speake
 r. Dr. Robert Brown is associate professor of medicine at Harvard medical 
 School (see bio below). This event will take place in the amphitheatre of 
 the Institute of Community and Family Psychiatry. It will be a special mom
 ent also because it will be the first in-person activity for more than two
  years now\, and I think\, much needed for the life of our organization. I
  hope many of you will be able to come.\n\nOn the interface between Pulmon
 ology and Psychiatry\n\n\n	Psychogenic dyspnea is common and very often unr
 ecognized.\n	Cues to the diagnosis of psychogenic dyspnea can be apparent f
 rom the patient’s history and physical examination.\n	Missing the diagnosis
  of psychogenic dyspnea can lead to years of improper treatment and needle
 ss surgical procedures.\n	Understanding the meaning of conversion disorder 
 and distinguishing it from malingering.\n\n\nBio information:\n\nDr. Rober
 t Brown is a physician and director of the Pulmonary Function Testing Labo
 ratory\, at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He is also and A
 ssociate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He was twice giv
 en award for Excellence in Teaching by Fellows in Pulmonary and Critical C
 are Medicine at Harvard Medical School and received the JJ Peters Memorial
  Lecture Award for leadership and contributions in the field of Spinal Cor
 d Injury. He is author/co-author on more than 100 scientific publications 
 and 14 book chapters.\n\nOf note is that Health and Safety requires that w
