 hy of Science and Technology at the University of Toronto. I have a Ph.D. 
 in philosophy from the University of Valencia\, Spain\, and A Ph.D. in his
 tory of science from Harvard University\, USA. I have worked on the histor
 y of genetics\, animal behavior\, attachment theory\, and autism.\n\nIn 20
 13\, I published: The Nature and Nurture of Love: From Imprinting to Attac
 hment in Cold War America. Chicago: University of Chicago Press. Other rec
 ent publications include “Ethopathology and Civilization Diseases: Niko an
 d Elisabeth Tinbergen on Autism.” Canadian Bulletin of Medical History 35
