 etics to engrams.'\n\nDr. Peña earned her BA from the University of Pennsy
 lvania\, working under Dr. Tracy Bale. She then worked at the National Ins
 titute for Mental Health in the Laboratory of Clinical Science headed by D
 r. Dennis Murphy. She earned her PhD from Columbia University working with
  Dr. Frances Champagne\, and was a Robin Chemers Neustein Postdoctoral Fel
 low at Mount Sinai with Dr. Eric Nestler. She is now an Assistant Professo
 r in the Princeton Neuroscience Institute where she investigates the impac
 t of early life stress on brain development and risk for psychiatric disea
