She then worked at the National Ins titute for Mental Health in the Laboratory of Clinical Science headed by D r. Dennis Murphy. She earned her PhD from Columbia University working with Dr. Frances Champagne\, and was a Robin Chemers Neustein Postdoctoral Fel low at Mount Sinai with Dr. Eric Nestler. She is now an Assistant Professo r in the Princeton Neuroscience Institute where she investigates the impac t of early life stress on brain development and risk for psychiatric disea se.
