Efforts to develop biol ogical\n tests have largely failed\, and few would argue that the field has made\n considerable advances in the treatment of patients with depression in the last\n 3-4 decades.\n In this talk\, Eiko Fried will discuss why majo r depression is a highly\n problematic phenotype\, and show that studying i ndividual depression\n symptoms and their dynamic relations via network mod els can offer ways\n forward. He will introduce two classes of network mode ls: between-subjects\n models for cross-sectional data\, and network models for time-series data that\n can estimate dynamic relations of variables ov er time on both idiographic and\n nomothetic levels.\n DTSTART:20190823T150000Z DTEND:20190823T160000Z LOCATION:Room 735\, CA\, QC\, Montréal\, 2001 Ave 91ºÚÁÏÍø College SUMMARY:Depression symptomics: Studying individual depression symptoms and their dynamic relations in network models with Eiko Fried\, PhD URL:/psychiatry/channels/event/depression-symptomics-s tudying-individual-depression-symptoms-and-their-dynamic-relations-network -298998 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
