 eduction in bipolar disorder\n\nBrief bio:\n\nDr. Goldstein is a child-ado
 lescent psychiatrist and Professor of Psychiatry and Pharmacology  at the 
 University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine\, as well as Adjunct Professor o
 f Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh.  He is director of the Centr
 e for Youth Bipolar Disorder and director of research in the Department of
  Psychiatry at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre\, and a Senior Scientist 
 at Sunnybrook Research Institute. Dr. Goldstein’s efforts focus on teenage
 rs with\, or at familial risk for\, bipolar disorder. His team’s integrati
 on of heart health with mental health is intended to identify clinically r
 elevant biomarkers and innovative prevention and treatment strategies\, an
 d reduce stigma. Dr. Goldstein has authored over 130 scientific articles\,
  and has received national and international awards for his research. His 
 research is currently funded by grants from Brain Canada\, CIHR\, the Hear
 t and Stroke Foundation\, and the Ontario Ministry of Research\, Innovatio
 n and Science. An active educator\, Dr. Goldstein serves as Director of th
 e Clinician Scientist Program in the University of Toronto’s Department of
  Psychiatry.\n
