35 000$ pour la santé mentale grace au soutien de Dr Tourian selon La Presse

Le 15 mai dernier, Les Impatients ont clôturé la 8e exposition-encan Parle-moi d'amour Centre Wellington à Verdun, la principale activité de financement de l'organisme.

Plus d'une centaine d'oeuvres d'Impatients, d'artistes professionnels et des dons de collectionneurs ont été mis à l'encan et ont permis d'amasser la somme de 35 000$.

Dr Turecki study of the correlation between suicide (unassisted) and depression highlighted in El Libero (Chile)

Gustavo Turecki, director of the Department of Psychiatry at 91 (Canada), investigates the correlation between suicide (unassisted) and depression. Although not all people suffering from depression commit suicide, scientific evidence has shown that between 60 and 90 percent of suicide cases were due to symptoms of depression.

Quebec's chief scientist Rémi Quirion headed to hall of fame

When headhunters first contacted Rémi Quirion years ago about the new position of Quebec’s chief scientist, he initially took a pass.

With a thriving career at 91 and the Douglas Hospital Research Centre where his lab was located, Quirion suggested they speak to others and provided names.
