He is a Canadian\, born and raised in Toronto\, who completed his MD and PhD at MIT and Harvard Medical School. He also conducted postdoctoral trainin g in genetics\, neurology and psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Mo rrow is currently the Mencoff Family Professor in MCB\, Neuroscience and P sychiatry at Brown University. His research laboratory focuses on bench-to -bedside studies in human neurogenetic disorders. One area of focus is Chr istianson Syndrome (CS)\, a neurologic disorder caused by X-linked mutatio ns in the endosomal Na+/H+ Exchanger 6 (NHE6). Dr. Morrow will present new data from his group on basic neuronal mechanisms as well as new translati onal studies with the goal of improving treatments for CS.\n\nThis seminar will be given online via Zoom.
