 y performed in dedicated clinical study samples that are necessarily modes
 t in size\, yet the recent availability of population data allows for a ne
 w lens on psychopathology research. In my talk I will cover several recent
  UK Biobank studies performed in my lab on the topics of heterogeneity in 
 depression (e.g.\, https://doi.org/10.1101/2022.12.07.22283225)\, transdia
 gnostic disease classification (e.g.\, https://doi.org/10.1101/2024.04.15.
 589555)\, and related work (e.g.\, https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ynirp.2023.10
 0163). More broadly\, I will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of popul
 ation data in the context of psychopathology research.\n
