This talk will highlight th e importance of addressing maladaptive stress\, coping\, and emotion regul ation processes for the prevention and treatment of mood problems in self- critical perfectionistic individuals.\n\n \n\nThis session is a part of Th e Mental Health Speaker Series which consist of 91ºÚÁÏÍø Faculty or graduate students presenting research and insights in the areas of mental health a nd well-being.\n\n \n\nAbout the Speaker:\n  \n\nDavid Dunkley\, Ph.D.\, is a Senior Researcher with the Lady Davis Institute and Jewish General Hosp ital\, and an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Associate Member of Ps ychology at 91ºÚÁÏÍø. He was trained in clinical psychology at 91ºÚÁÏÍø Univer sity\, receiving his Ph.D. in 2001. His research has examined stress\, cop ing\, and emotion regulation processes that explain how perfectionism trig gers and maintains distress and (lower) resilience. The findings of his re search contribute to identifying specific targets for prevention efforts a nd improvement of existing clinical interventions.\n\n \n\nTo register:\n \n1.
