Muslim Awareness Week (MAW) is a yearly week of solidarity and exchange where people of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs are invited to learn about the achievements, contributions, aspirations and concerns of Quebecers of Muslim faith. Born as a grassroots response to the tragic shooting at a mosque on January 29, 2017 that killed 6 men, events focus on getting to know each other through dialogue, bridge building and willingness to navigate the challenges of our pluralistic society with an open heart.

Applications now open for Peer Faith Volunteer Program

MORSL is launching a peer faith volunteer program this Fall and we are now accepting applications for student volunteers.

We encourage applications from both undergraduate and graduate students at 91�� who are looking to enhance their involvement with their faith or spiritual life through peer support. Volunteers will be trained to provide confidential, non-judgmental faith-based peer support and participate in a vibrant, multi-faith cohort designed to encourage multi-faith learning and collaboration.
