DESCRIPTION:The GBBC is a global event and each year tens of thousands of p
 eople around the world submit checklists reporting many millions of birds.
  The data collected during a 4-day count period every February helps scien
 tists monitor avian population and migration trends. Come learn all about 
 feeder birds and what you need to know to join in this fun citizen science
  initiative.\n\n\n	Learn about birds and how to identify them\n	Find out abo
 ut bird feeding and the array of feeders on the market\n	Go on a bird walk 
 with experts and identify birds in the wild\n	Observe birds through one of 
 several high-powered birding scopes\n	Hand-feed the Black-capped Chickadees
  (note: we’ve requested their cooperation\, but no guarantees!)\n	Learn all
  about on-line data submission to eBird\, a free global database for bird 
 observation\n	Warm up with some complimentary hot chocolate after the walk
 \n\n\nAdmission and GBBC Event Parking: FREE \n	Parking fees for non-member
 s attending the event will be paid by Bird Protection Quebec.\n	Admission i
 ncludes all day access to the Arboretum - bring skis\, snowshoes or tobogg
 ans for after the event.\n	\n	Already passionate about birds? Help a new bir
 der take flight!\n	Attend the event with a non-birding friend or relative. 
 If every bird watcher inspired just one other person to watch birds\, we c
 ould double the number of people who enjoy and care not only about birds\,
