RESOLVED: Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat – Unable to submit prompts error message

Microsoft is currently investigating an issue affecting Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat. Some users may be unable to submit prompts and may receive a "Something went wrong" error.

Microsoft has implemented a fix and service recovery is in progress. Some users may continue to experience intermittent issues until recovery is complete.

myProgress (Degree Works Advising) scheduled downtime June 13-14

Update (April 13, 2026): This issue is now resolved.

Original announcement (published Friday, April 10, 2026): 91�� websites are loading very slowly for users off campus due to a technical issue. 91�� users are advised to use the Virtual Private Network (VPN) until this is resolved.

Wi-Fi network: Action required to renew certificates for Windows, iOS and MacOS devices

On the morning of Thursday, April 2nd, IT Services will renew the security certificate that secures authentication to 91��'s wpa.mcgill.ca, eduroam, cusm-muhc.mcgill.ca, and wpa.bus.mcgill.ca Wi-Fi networks.

This certificate allows you to sign on to the Wi-Fi network securely.

Some Android and Windows devices, as well as all iOS/MacOS devices will display a message prompting users to accept the new certificate.
