 ciate Professor and Graduate Program Director at the School of Physical an
 d Occupational Therapy\, 91ºÚÁÏÍø. She is also a researcher at th
 e Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation in Montreal. Her
  research interests include the measurement of functional abilities in per
 sons with cognitive deficits such as dementia. She developed the Disabilit
 y Assessment for Dementia (DAD)\, a measure of functional abilities in act
 ivities of daily living\, which is used clinically and in clinical trials 
 internationally.\n\nDr. Gélinas will answer questions about how we can bes
 t help our loved ones with reduced autonomy actively participate in a mean
 ingful way in domestic tasks and personal care for as long as possible.\n
