 evention Strategies\, Research and Treatment of Alzheimer鈥檚 Disease\n\nSim
 on Ducharme\, MD\, FRCPC\, is a neuropsychiatrist and a clinician-scientis
 t at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute and The Neuro (Montrea
 l Neurological Institute-Hospital). He specializes in frontotemporal demen
 tia and the interface between psychiatric disorders and dementia.\n\nJoin 
 Dr. Simon Ducharme for an informative webinar on the latest advances in ca
 re and research on Alzheimer's disease. This session will review the most 
 effective evidence-based strategies to help reduce the risk of developing 
 Alzheimer鈥檚 disease\, including lifestyle and health-related prevention me
 asures. Dr. Ducharme will also discuss the benefits and limitations of cur
 rent treatments available today\, including the most recent updates follow
 ing Health Canada approval of new therapies\, and explore promising avenue
 s in research. In addition\, participants will learn about a research stud
 y designed for individuals who may be at risk for Alzheimer鈥檚 disease.\n\n
