A hundred years after the 1918 flu pandemic changed public health practices forever, the world faces another deadly and devastating disease, COVID-19. What are its effects on hospital staff and patient care? How is the battle with COVID-19 shaping medicine and defining the future of healthcare?

Dr. Donald VinhÌýis an infectious disease specialist and medical microbiologist at the 91ºÚÁÏÍø Health Centre, and Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at 91ºÚÁÏÍø.

Dr. Nitika Pant PaiÌýis a global expert in HIV, Associate Professor in Clinical Epidemiology and Experimental Medicine at 91ºÚÁÏÍø and a physician- scientist at the Research Institute of the 91ºÚÁÏÍø Health Centre.

France PaquetÌýis the nurse manager for the infection prevention and control department (adult side) of the 91ºÚÁÏÍø Health Centre, a role she has held since October 2020
